Weight loss for high school wrestling tips?

Bah asked:


I’m a high school wrestler and the 1st match of the season is tomorrow.
I need to drop down 2-3 pounds to the 119 weight class. Any tips on shedding a couple of pounds in a day? Like diet (i.e. what i should eat for breakfast and lunch) or some quick workouts? Anorexia and bulimia are not options though…h

  • Diet Lose Weight Fast

    Depending on the climate in the state you live (I live in WI where its usually 15 degrees in the wrestling season) but run outside til you get a good sweat goin, then come indoors and run on a treadmill or something. It will feel nice, but you will sweat like a mother f***er.
    Don’t eat anything tonight cuz its too late, wake up in the AM see what you drifted, if you’re under or even, eat something light, like A CUP (8 oz.) of juice and a piece of toast with peanut butter or tuna on it.
    If youre a pound over, you’ll probably drift that over the day. If you didnt drift, when you get to the scale, run the extra weight off, it will get you warm for your match.
    If your still 2-3 over tomorrow morning, use the technique I mentioned above, do it for at least an hour. Wear sweats in phy ed class and run hard.
